JV football: Hemmingway has two TD night for Golden Falcons

PIKEVILLE -- The Golden Falcons built a 31-point advantage after three quarters in their season-opening victory over the Eagles at Hardy Talton Stadium.
Freshman Michael Hemmingway paced Aycock's ground attack with 107 yards and two touchdowns. Tahj Thacker and freshman Kamrion Graham combined for 113 yards rushing and one TD apiece. Freshman quarterback Blake Gipson completed 4 of 5 passes for 68 yards, including a scoring strike to freshman Luke Frederick.
Sophomore Donte McNair led the defense with seven stops.
C.B. Aycock forced Rosewood into six turnovers.
