ECBL: Wayne Christian shuts out Spring Creek

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Holden Foster and Ted Suggs combined for a three-hitter during Wayne Christian's 6-0 victory over Spring Creek in the Eastern Carolina Baseball League opener for both teams Tuesday evening.
Foster and Suggs combined for six strikeouts on the mound.
Nick Easom and Ryan Kennedy provided two RBI apiece for Wayne Christian, which erupted for five seventh-inning runs. Austin Howell (RBI), Tanner Rose and Jaxon Anderson (RBI) provided one hit apiece.
Suggs batted 2-for-3.
Sawyer Smith led the Gators with two hits, while Luke Miller had one.
Will Rouse took the pitching loss.
