Rosewood's season ends on soccer pitch

Rosewood's playoff run was cut short by Camden County in a 4-1 loss in the third round of the NCHSAA 1-A state playoffs.
Payton Lane scored the Eagles' lone goal off of an assist fom Lexi Mercer. It was Lane's eighth goal of the season.
Patrice Robertson had eight saves in goal.
The Eagles finished the season 13-4-3 overall.
"It was a good season," RHS head coach Daniel Mitchell said. "I thought we improved throughout the year and did well to get to the third round.
