* Baseball: C.B. Aycock 8, Eastern Wayne 4 -- Chandler Matthews threw three innings of two-hit ball to lead C.B. Aycock to a win over the Eastern Wayne on Monday afternoon. The Warriors scored all four runs in the fourth inning to battle back into the game. Cameron Kornegay and Landon Casey each had two hits to pace the Golden Falcons offense. Chris Turner had two RBI and Sam Mott added another RBI.
* Baseball: Rosewood 3, C.B. Aycock 1 -- The Golden Falcons (13-6 overall) couldn't hold onto their one-run lead in the late innings as Rosewood scored three in the fourth to win 3-1 in five innings Monday. Landon Casey led the offense with two hits. Chris Turner and Bradley Pate each had one to round out the offense. Cameron Kornegay had an RBI.
