Pitt County Classic: North Lenoir slips past New Bern

Daron Gray picked up a victory on the mound after coming in to relieve Landon Letchworth in North Lenoir's 4-3 triumph over New Bern in the Pitt County Classic Tuesday.
Gray pitched three innings of one-hit shut-out ball.
Tyler Smith led the Hawks offense with two hits. Luke Jackson, Gray, Letchworth, Noah Reese and Jacob Baird each had one hit.
North Lenoir (12-5 overall) plays Greene Central on Tuesday.
