Rebels drop two county foes

A 17-hit offensive outburst propelled North Duplin to a 15-4 victory over East Duplin on Thursday evening.
James Britt, Blake Rhodes and Charlie Mac Holloman each had three hits in the win for the Rebels.
Trey Pate go the win on the mound.
A day later earlier, the Rebels held off Wallace-Rose Hill in a 9-6 conquest.
Tyler Potter had four RBI in the win and Taylan Lewis added two RBI with his two-hit performance.
Ced Kornegay threw five and a third to get the win on the mound. Cody Ivey came on in the six and shut the door for the save.
North Duplin (8-4 overall) plays host to Neuse Charter on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
