WCDS diamond nine fall to Epiphany

Mitch Turnage led the offense with two hits, but Wayne Country Day endured an 11-1 setback to Epiphany in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference game Monday.
John Strickland, Mason Bland and Drew Barnes each had one hit apiece to round out the offense.
Bland took the mound loss.
WCDS (6-6 overall, 2-4 CPIC) entertains Neuse Christian on Wednesday.
