Warriors shut out Cougars on soccer pitch

Eastern Wayne fired 31 shots on goal and handed county rival Goldsboro a 6-0, non-conference defeat Monday evening.
Cameron Dove had two goals for the Warriors, who swept the regular-season series. Megan Mozingo, Brennan Dove and Haley Cannon each had one goal for the Warriors.
Goldsboro had an "own" goal.
The Warriors (7-4-0 overall) entertain South Central on Thursday, while the Cougars (2-4-0) entertain South Lenoir.
