Goldsboro endured a 21-0 defeat to South Lenoir in the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference opener for both teams Tuesday afternoon.
Matti Rose Lyon took the pitching loss. She led the offense reaching base on a walk.
Goldsboro (0-4 overall, 0-1 ECC) visits Kinston today.
