Wayne Christian routs Bethel Christian

KINSTON -- Wayne Christian routed N.C. Christian Schools Association member Bethel Christian 11-3 Monday afternoon.
Austin Howell led the Eagles with three hits, an RBI and two runs scored. Ted Suggs contributed two hits and three RBI in the Eagles nine-hit affair. Tanner Rose, Nick Easom, Ryan Kennedy and Holden Foster also added one hit each.
Foster picked up the win on the mound. He gave up three hits, three runs (one earned) and struck out two in four innings. Howell came on in relief and pitched three scoreless innings.
Wayne Christian (3-2 overall) entertains Lee Christian on Thursday.
