CBA's 1600 meter relay qualifies for regional

WILSON -- Charles B. Aycock's 1,600-meter relay team posted a regional-qualifying time during the annual Wilson Times Classic contested at Beddingfield on Monday afternoon.
The Golden Falcon foursome of Jimmy Ellis, Brandon Swinson, Michael Eutsey and T.J. Morrow placed second with a time of 3 minutes, 35 seconds.
Aycock's Joseph Mooneyham took the bronze medal (third place) in the 1,600-meter run. He anchored the bronze medal-winning distance medley team that included Swinson, Holden Cox and Jamal Tucker.
The 400 relay of Morrow, Troy Hill, Taz Graves and Marcus Meadows placed third.
