D.H. Conley slips past Aycock on tennis courts

D.H. Conley emerged victorious at No. 1 doubles and turned back Charles B. Aycock, 5-4, in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference match contested at Eastern Wayne High School.
Allan Best and Stanton Head, the Nos. 4 and 5 seeds, respectively, each claimed a singles point for the Golden Falcons. Addison Vail-Best and Head-Nick Coston each won in doubles.
Conley led 4-2 after singles.
The Golden Falcons (4-4 overall, 3-2 ECC) travel to J.H. Rose today.
