North Johnston hands Goldsboro 8-2 setback

KENLY -- North Johnston plated runs in four of six innings and dealt Goldsboro an 8-2 non-conference loss on Friday afternoon.
Damon Pate, Jared Howard, Cayce Herring (two RBI), Kenny Stempien and Thomas Vick had one hit apiece for the Cougars.
Miguel Lugo took the pitching loss. He allowed seven runs (five earned) on five hits and four walks during five innings on the mound. Zach Falconer threw the sixth.
Goldsboro fell to 1-5 overall this season.
