Gurley tosses complete-game, two-hitter on road

SALEMBURG -- Jordan Gurley limited Lakewood to two hits during Rosewood's 5-1 victory in a Carolina 1-A Conference game Friday afternoon.
Gurley posted 10 strikeouts in a complete-game effort for the Eagles, who rose to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play this season.
Bryce McKeel registered two hits and scored one run. Ethan Chapin (RBI), Zack Tanner, Reed Howell, Derek Neal, Jeffrey Tanner (RBI), Kahlil Warren (two RBI), Corey Lynn (RBI) and Boone Moody each delivered one hit.
Rosewood entertains James Kenan on Monday.
