Gators dominate Wildcats in Carolina 1A baseball

Spring Creek dominated from start to finish on its way to an 18-1 victory that ended in 5 1/2 innings over Carolina 1-A Conference foe Hobbton on Thursday afternoon.
Logan Miller led the way from his lead-off spot with three hits. Sawyer Smith and Allen Coor combined for seven RBI behind Miller.
Miller also got the win on the mound. He gave up one run on one hit, walked one batter and had three strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings. Hunter Walker came in for 2/3 hitless innings.
The Gators were helped out by eight Hobbton errors, which led to seven unearned runs.
Spring Creek (5-2 overall, 2-0 CC) travels to Neuse Charter today.
