Six different players accounted for the scoring in Eastern Wayne's 5-0, non-conference triumph over North Lenoir at Little Big Horn on Friday evening.

Julie Pierce notched the eventual game-winning goal in the 3rd minute off an assist from Megan Mozingo.

"Julie's early goal allowed us to settle down quickly and we were able to dictate the pace of the match from then on," said EW head coach Jorg Wagner, whose team attempted 42 shots and owned a 12-0 advantage in corner kicks.

"Although our finishing needs to improve, we created numerous good chances, led by Brennan and Megan. From the back, Cameron and (goalie) Erica (Duke) opened our attacks with lot of poise and some very intelligent passing."

Cheyenne Craft provided an unassisted goal in the 31st minute and McKenna Dove capped the first-half scoring with an assist from sister, Brennan.

Mozingo assisted Carol Cruz's goal in the 52nd minute. Brennan Dove collected the Warriors' final goal in the 79th minute.

Duke recorded her third shutout of the season in goal.

Eastern Wayne (3-1 overall) entertains South Central on Tuesday.
