South Central shuts out E. Wayne in softball

Brooke Morawski and Emily Uzzell each had one hit in Eastern Wayne's 11-0 loss to perennial powerhouse South Central on Tuesday afternoon.
It was the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference opener for both teams.
Emily Uzzell and Tricia Bell each saw time in the pitching circle for Eastern Wayne.
The Warriors (0-2 overall, 0-1 ECC) travel to New Bern on Friday.
