Massengill leads Princeton girls

PRINCETON -- Princeton defeated Whiteville, 53-41, in the first round of the NCHSAA 1-A playoffs Monday evening.
Savanna Massengill led the Bulldogs with 23 points. Charley Cox had 21 points and Tori Paul added five points and 12 rebounds.
Princeton (15-9 overall) travels to top-seeded Granville Central on Wednesday.
