* Boys' basketball: Goldsboro 75, Greene Central 39 -- Kisheem Faison hit 7 of 8 shots from the floor and finished with a game-high 21 points in the Cougars' regular-season finale. Nakia Atkins added 10 points. Goldsboro concluded the year 14-7 overall.
* Girls' basketball: Eastern Wayne 27, C.B. Aycock 25 -- Destiny Washington emerged the Golden Falcons' top scorer with 10 points. Natiana Barnes added five points. Aycock concluded the season 2-16 overall and 1-11 in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference play.
* Boys' basketball: Goldsboro 62, North Lenoir 59 -- Kisheem Faison paced the Cougars' offense with 25 points. Ronnie Tookes contributed 12 points. Nakia Atkins and Jacob Owens provided seven and six points, respectively.
