South Lenoir boys stun Goldsboro

DEEP RUN -- Goldsboro watched a nine-point halftime lead disappear in a 65-59 loss to Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference foe South Lenoir on Saturday night.
The Cougars were outscored 42-27 in the second half, including 24-10 in the fourth quarter.
Rasheen Artis led Goldsboro with 20 points, five steals and four assists. Myron Carmon scored 11 points with two steals, two assists and one blocked shot. Rasheed Jackson had nine points and seven rebounds.
Jayln Moore contributed six points and eight rebounds.
Jaquan Wooten had a double-double -- 22 points, 20 rebounds -- for the Blue Devils.
The Cougars (13-7 overall, 4-4 ECC) entertain North Lenoir on Tuesday.
