SW's Atkins flirts with triple-double against CBA girls

DUDLEY -- Southern Wayne completed its regular-season sweep of Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference rival C.B. Aycock with a 56-35 victory on Wednesday evening.
Zaria Atkins paced the Saints with 16 points, seven steals and six assists. Keajah Wilson logged a double-double with 13 points, 13 rebounds. Latrecia Johnson added 13 points.
Taylor Daniels scored 12 points for CBA.
Southern Wayne (12-8 overall, 3-5 ECC) visits New Bern on Friday, while the Golden Falcons (5-15, 1-8) travel to league-leading South Central.
