WCDS girls notch 5th win of the season

Wayne Country Day held on for a 23-17 win over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference foe Pope John Paul on Monday evening.
The Chargers won back-to-back games for the first time this season.
Bailee Creger led Wayne Country Day with 12 points and Karis Hawkins had nine points.
The Chargers (5-15 overall, 3-4 CPIC) visit Community Christian on Thursday.
