Freedom Christian boys defeat WCDS

Senior guard Lee Atkinson led four players in double figures with 18 points during Wayne Country Day's 78-68 loss to Freedom Christian in Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference play Tuesday evening.
Shahim Muhammed provided 16 points. Joel Davis and Kris Cooley contributed 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Freedom swept the regular-season series.
The Chargers (18-8 overall, 3-2 CPIC) continue play Friday at archrival Greenfield.
