Spring Creek girls start fast, rout N. Duplin

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek scored the first 14 points of the game on its way to a 73-38 rout of North Duplin in Carolina 1-A Conference play.
Amber Buchan scored 22 points for the Gators. Destiney Sutton and Jazlyn Grimes each scored 13 points. Ashley Marriner added 12 points.
Rylee Pate paced the Rebels with 12 points. Shaily McCarty and Diasia Faison each had nine points.
Spring Creek entertains Lakewood next Friday, while North Duplin plays host to Neuse Charter.
