JV sports
* Girls' basketball: Wayne Country Day 16, Oakwood 11 -- Lillian Freeman scored six points for the Chargers and Kaitlyn Daniels had four. Wayne Country Day (3-6 overall) plays host to Freedom on Tuesday.
* Boys' basketball: Wayne Country Day 59, Oakwood 39 -- Corey Carpenter led the Chargers with 17 points and Tony Townsend added 10. Wayne Country Day improved to 6-2 overall this season.
Middle schools
* Boys' basketball: Wayne Country Day 42, Oakwood 24 -- Marcus Metcalf finished with 22 points for the Chargers. Drew Barnes supplied six points. WCDS rose to 3-6 overall this season.
