Woodard helps Princeton boys earn Classic split

CLAYTON -- All-tournament selection Tanner Woodard dumped in 18 points and Princeton hammered Rolesville, 63-40, during consolation-round play in the inaugural Cleveland Christmas Classic on Saturday afternoon.
Johnny Frazier and Javaris Williams contributed 10 and eight points, respectively. Alex Whitley registered seven points. Colby Norris and Michael Wooten tallied six points apiece.
Wooten earned a nod on the all-tournament squad.
Woodard sizzled the nets for 21 points, but Princeton dropped a 67-53 decision to West Johnston on Friday.
Wooten knocked down 13 points.
The Bulldogs (6-5 overall) play host to Hobbton on Jan. 3.
