MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College's Bright Eto and Ellie Barnes earned spots on the 2013 All-Conference Carolinas men's and women's soccer teams, respectively.
Eto and Barnes each received third-team honors.
A junior from Raleigh, Bright ranks sixth in the conference with four goals and eighth in total points (10). Eto's assist on an overtime goal helped the Trojans (3-15-0 overall) qualify for the season-ending conference tournament.
Barnes, who hails from Fuquay-Varina, is a two-time all-conference selection. The forward ranks among the league's top 15 in three scoring categories -- goals (six), assists (four) and total points (16).
Barnes became the sixth player in Trojan women's soccer history to earn all-Conference Carolinas as a freshman and sophomore. She joins Patrice Clarke (2009-10), Gina Dos Santos (2004-05), April Jacobs (2004-05), Kate Painter (2004-05) and Caroline Smith (2009-10).
Clarke and Jacobs were each a four-time all-conference selection.
The Trojan women ended the season 5-11-2 overall.
