JV sports
* Football: Greene Central 34, Goldsboro 6 -- The Rams' Trey Wade scored four touchdowns and Montavious Battle added a score. Greene Central finished the season with a 9-0 record, including a 5-0 mark in Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play.
Middle schools
* Football: Dillard 28, Mount Olive 14 -- Baahir Hinton scored a pair of touchdowns for Dillard and D.J. Waters contributed a score. Zamari Jones-Gillies recovered a fumble for a touchdown and he led the defense with seven tackles. Zavier Bowden had six stops. Dillard concluded its season with a record of 5-3.
