Pate notches hat trick for Cougars

Goldsboro concluded its regular season with an 11-2 win over Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference foe South Lenoir on Thursday evening.
Damon Pate collected a hat trick (three goals) for the Cougars. Jeffery Martinez and Rubin Quiroz each added a pair of goals. Jesus Quiroz, Jonathan Stevens, Jacob Seate and Luke McAlduff all scored a goal apiece.
Goldsboro finished the season 3-16-1 overall, including a 1-8-1 mark in ECC play.
