Morgan cranks out 19 kills in Rosewood's 1A volleyball playoff win

Senior Ellen Morgan supplied a match-high 19 kills during Rosewood's 25-14, 25-20, 25-11 triumph over North Edgecombe in opening-round action of the 2013 N.C. High School Athletic Association Class 1-A playoffs Saturday afternoon.
Anna Ingram contributed a double -- 12 kills and 11 assists. Emily Brock and Hayley Mercer each dished out 13 assists. Lexi Mercer and Callie Thornton delivered five and four kills, respectively.
Rosewood had 45 assists as a team.
The Eagles (22-3 overall) travel to Coastal 10 champ Perquimans on Tuesday.
