Ayden-Grifton blanks Goldsboro in ECC 2A soccer

AYDEN -- Goldsboro never got its offense going in a 1-0 loss at Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference rival Ayden-Grifton on Wednesday.
Chris Wiggins led the Cougars in the net and stopped a penalty kick to keep Goldsboro within striking distance.
Goldsboro travels to Greene Central on Saturday.
