JV sports
* Volleyball: North Lenoir d. Ayden-Grifton 25-14, 16-25, 25-20 -- The Hawks improved to 14-4 with a 6-4 record in Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play.
* Volleyball: Greene Central d. Goldsboro 25-9, 25-22 -- Mary Dunn led the Cougars with four aces.
Middle schools
* Boys' soccer: Spring Creek 10, Greenwood 1 -- Gustavo Avalos collected four goals, while Hunter Bryson recorded a hat trick (three goals). Flavio Mejia, Milton Bautista and Bryan Miranda punched in one goal apiece. The Gators (8-0-1 overall) entertain Norwayne on Thursday.
