Greene Central advances in 2A dual-team play

SNOW HILL -- Greene Central turned back First Flight 5-1 in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 2-A dual-team state playoffs on Tuesday afternoon.
Lindsay May, MacKenzie Butts, Brycen Radford, Chasity Holloman and Caitlin Deans each earned a singles win for the Rams.
"Senior Lindsay May played an outstanding match for us today to clinch it," Greene Central head coach Donald Clark said. "She lost the first set, but she kept on fighting and found a way to win."
