Chargers defeat Cougars in ECC 2A volleyball action

AYDEN -- Goldsboro won the opening set but could not maintain its momentum in a 21-25, 25-10, 25-22, 25-14 loss against Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference foe Ayden-Grifton on Tuesday evening.
Becka Pittard recorded four blocks and four aces for the Cougars. Nickie Tyler had three kills.
Goldsboro plays host to North Lenoir on Thursday.
