Rosewood's Burton shares medalist honors

SELMA -- Rosewood's Lindsey Burton shared medalist honors with a nine-hole round of 42 and helped the Eagles claim a four-team meet contested at Cardinal Country Club on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles compiled a team score of 146. Washington was second at 152. North Johnston (153) and Princeton (182) completed the team scoring.
Rosewood returns to action Tuesday at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
