Hawks turn back Panthers

La GRANGE -- North Lenoir broke into the win column for the first time this season with an 18-16 triumph over North Johnston on Friday night.
Donyae Hopkins led the Hawks' offense with 180 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.
North Lenoir (1-5 overall) opens Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference play against Kinston on Oct. 11.
