Rosewood linksters place 4th at Pine Hollow

CLAYTON -- Rosewood finished fourth in a 12-team match contested at Pine Hollow Golf Course on Thursday afternoon.
West Johnston won with a team score of 139. North Johnston (148) and Smithfield-Selma (149) were second and third, respectively. The Eagles compiled a score of 154.
Lindsey Burton led Rosewood with a nine-hole round of 47. Taylor Gales carded a 48 and Alana Pipkin shot 59.
Smithfield-Selma's Parker Watson earned medalist honors with a round of 42.
The Eagles return home Tuesday for a match at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
