Preps digest: JV, middle schools

JV sports
* Volleyball: Hobbton d. Rosewood 25-9, 16-25, 25-21 -- Ada Rivera led the Eagles with five assists and three service aces. Logan Merritt provided six aces and two digs. Hannah Daniels added three aces, three digs and three kills.
Middle schools
* Football: Spring Creek d. Greenwood 30-6 -- Will Archer scored two touchdowns for the Gators and tacked on a two-point conversion. Nick Strickland and Dominique Morse each contributed a touchdown and a two-point conversion. Strickland and Gabe Barfield led the Spring Creek defense with five tackles apiece.
* Soccer: Wayne Christian d. Neuse Charter 6-1 -- Jaxon Anderson and Ryan Thiele each scored two goals for the Eagles. Jeremy Bentley and Bash Aatiah each added a goal.
* Volleyball: Rosewood d. Eastern Wayne 25-20, 25-21, 26-24 -- Alaysha Warren led the Eagles with seven kills. Rosewood (4-0) overall plays host to Grantham on Monday.
* Volleyball: Norwayne d. Dillard 25-11, 25-16, 25-8 -- Norwayne (3-1 overall) entertains Spring Creek on Monday.
