DH Conley slips past CBA in ECC 3A soccer game

GREENVILLE -- Charles B. Aycock saw a 2-1 lead halftime lead evaporate in a 3-2 loss to D.H. Conley in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference game Thursday evening.
Dallen Edwards scored of Collin Zacharzuk's corner kick in the 10th minute to give the Golden Falcons a 1-0 lead. Bobby Hampton's goal in the 30th minute increased the margin to 2-0.
Conley scored in the closing seconds of the first half and used a pair of second-half goals to take the lead.
Aycock (3-6-0 overall, 0-4-0 ECC) entertains South Central on Tuesday.
