JV sports
* Volleyball: Greene Central d. North Lenoir 25-23, 25-18 -- Greene Central finsihed with five service aces and three kills as a team against the Hawks. The Rams travel to Kinston tonight.
Middle schools
* Boys' soccer: Spring Creek 9, Greenwood 0 -- Gustavo Avalos scored four goals for the Gators. Hunter Bryson, Luis Lopez, Tommy Kaglic, Bryan Miranda and Elias Soto each added one goal. Spring Creek visits Norwayne on Monday.
