Carpenter, Chargers defeat Pope John Paul

Wayne Country Day controlled the pace of play throuhgout a 7-2 win over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A Conference foe Pope John Paul II Catholic High School on Wednesday night.
Ramel Carpenter scored three goals and dished out an assist in the win. Danny Lee, Jacob Magera, Parker Smith and Noah Adkins each had one goal.
Kris Cooley and Matt Kierski each tallied an assist.
