JV sports

* Volleyball: Rosewood d. North Duplin 25-14, 25-14 -- Ada Rivera contributed two kills and a dig for the Eagles (8-5, 4-2 CC). Hannah Daniels and Carrie Beckert each had a kill, an ace and a dig.

* Volleyball: Kinston d. Ayden-Grifton 25-11, 25-21 -- Ashley Falconer tallied five aces for the Cougars. Mary Dunn collected three aces.

* Volleyball: Oakwood d. Wayne Country Day 25-10, 25-16 -- The Chargers' Jessie Watson had four kills and a dig. Sarah Ammons and Lillian Freeman both added three digs.

* Volleyball: James Kenan d. Spring Creek 25-17, 25-20 -- The Gators entertain Lakewood on Thursday.

Middle schools

* Volleyball: Oakwood d. Wayne Country Day 25-16, 25-11 -- Lillian Freeman finished with two kills and two aces for the Chargers.

* Volleyball: Spring Creek d. Greenwood 25-17, 25-16, 25-8 -- Becky Coor and Madison Sullivan each had one kill for the Gators. Spring Creek (2-1 overall) travels to Norwayne on Thursday.
