Dogs stay perfect on Carolina 1A volleyball scene

PRINCETON -- Two-time defending champion Princeton remained unbeaten in Carolina 1-A Conference play with a 25-3, 25-16, 25-13 sweep of Lakewood on Tuesday evening.
Savanna Massengill led the Bulldogs with 10 kills. Taylor Carroll and Tori Paul each contributed seven kills. Carroll opened the match with 18 consecutive service points. She also finished with five aces.
Jasmine Bombard added four kills.
Princeton (11-1 overall, 7-0 CC) continues conference play at James Kenan on Thursday.
