Trojans' Andersen shoots 3-under 69

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- Sebastian Andersen is tied for seventh out of 85 individual golfers and Mount Olive is tied for fourth out of 17 teams after opening-round play of the Kiawah Island Men's Golf Invitational.
Andersen fired a 3-under par 69 and trails the overall leader by two strokes. Mark O'Hara (1-under 71) is tied for 16th, while Jesus Valderama and Jeff Villalobos share 22nd place at even par.
Dalton Gore contributed a 74.
The Trojans carded a 4-under 284 as a team.
The 36-hole tournament ends today.
