Rosewood shuts out Goldsboro in soccer

Rosewood overcame a sluggish start and rallied past Goldsboro 3-0 on Monday night.
The Eagles benefited from an own goal in the 44th minute for a 1-0 lead. Than Truong found Marquail Almontaser with a corner kick in the 71st minute to put the game away.
Truong added a goal off an assist from Corey Lynn in the 75th minute.
Rosewood (5-2-1 overall) entertains Spring Creek on Wednesday.
