JV sports

* Boys' soccer: Greenfield 1, Wayne Country Day 0 -- Greenfield only got two shots on goal but one of them found the mark in a 1-0 win over Wayne Country Day on Tuesday afternoon. Wayne Country Day visits Oakwood on Friday.

* Volleyball: Wayne Christian d. Crossroads Christian 25-22, 15-21, 30-28 -- The Eagles improved to 6-2 with a 3-1 record in Carolina Christian 1-A Conference play.

* Volleyball: Oakwood d. Wayne Country Day 25-22, 25-23 -- The Chargers' Jessie Watson finished with six digs and three aces. Olivia Dively had two aces, two digs and an assist. Teriece Hawley and Cheyenne Canuette added three digs.

* Volleyball: Rosewood d. Spring Creek 25-8, 25-22 -- Hannah Daniels recorded seven kills, one block and four service aces for the Eagles. Ada Rivera contributed 10 assists and two aces. Carrie Beckert had three digs and one kill. Hailey Weeks and Logan Merritt combined to serve six aces. Lexie Reyes logged four aces and one assist for Spring Creek. Teammate Stephanie Martinez provided two kills, while Ivet Carreno had two aces and two assists.

* Boys' soccer: Spring Creek 9, Grantham 0 -- No game details were provided.

Middle schools

* Volleyball: Wayne Country Day d. Oakwood 25-22, 25-23 -- Lillian Freeman paced the Chargers with two aces. Martha Ann Korschun and Kyara Drew each had an ace. Kaitlyn Daniels and Jaden Disdier each supplied a kill.
