EW's Davis notches game-winning goal

WINTERVILLE -- Deonte Davis scored the game-winning goal in the 60th minute and Eastern Wayne slipped past South Central 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
South Central scored in the opening minute before goals from Joe Herlihy and Davis gave the Warriors a 2-1 lead at halftime.
The Falcons tied the game at 2-2 in the 47th minute before Davis scored the game-winner on Victor Kokiko's assist. Christian Anderson also recorded an assist for Eastern Wayne.
The Warriors (4-1-0 overall, 1-0-0 ECC) play host to New Bern tonight.
