ECBL: Gators' Rogers has 5-hit outing

Matt Rogers went 5 for 5 at the plate with two RBI to lead Spring Creek to a 7-6 win at Rosewood in an Eastern Carolina Baseball League game Thursday evening.
Logan Miller supplied two hits for the Gators. Cayce Herring (RBI), Levi Miller (RBI), Zach Falconer (RBI), Will Rouse, Matthew Dupey and Chad Spurgeon each had a hit.
Dupey earned the win on the mound with two innings of two-run relief.
Bryce McKeel and Davis Jones each tallied two hits for the Eagles. Kahlil Warren (two RBI), Brent Breedlove (two RBI) and Ethan Chapin (RBI) all had a hit. Matthew Parson added an RBI.
Rosewood entertains Hunt on Monday, while Spring Creek plays host to North Lenoir the same evening.
