Best tallies 5 goals for Chargers

Sarah Best and Margaret Tanner scored within 10 minutes apart in the opening half, and Wayne Country Day throttled Freedom Christian, 6-0, in a Coastal Plains Independent 1-A Conference match Wednesday afternoon.
Best tallied four second-half goals on assists from Tanner, Maggie O'Daniel, Catherine Langston and Meredith Roethling.
The Chargers (9-3-1 overall, 6-1-0 CPIC) travel to archrival Greenfield on Friday.
