Rams upend Golden Falcons in ECC baseball

CLAYTON -- C.B. Aycock was held to just two hits in a 7-1 loss at Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference foe Cleveland on Tuesday evening.
Jacob Naughton (RBI) and Noah West each had a hit for the Golden Falcons.
Adam Pate endured the loss on the mound.
The Rams pounded out 10 hits in support of starting pitcher Patrick Banks. The junior left-hander pitched a complete game and surrendered one earned run, struck out nine and walked one.
Aycock (14-6 overall, 7-3 ECC) plays host to Eastern Wayne on Thursday.
